1. Profile picture
The picture you put here will be used on Google+. It should be different than your business logo.

3. Cover Picture
The picture you put here will be used on your Google+ page.
4. Business Name
Be consistent online with your business name. Put the complete name of your business here. For multi-location businesses the name should be the same for all the location pages. Each location should have it’s own unique Google My Business profile. The main differences between the profiles are the addresses and phone numbers.
Your business’ address is another area that you need to be consistent with. Put your full business address here.
6. Contact Information
Enter in your phone number and your website’s URL.
You can enter up to 9 categories in this section. The first one you enter will be used as the primary business category. Only enter categories that are relevant to your business and best represents your business.
What days are you open and what are the hours you are open on those days?
9. Special Hours
Do you know ahead of time what your holiday hours are going to be? Help your customers out and note them in this section.
The introduction section is your opportunity to tell people about your business and what it does. Be as detailed as possible.
The posts you make on your GMB page will get indexed by Google and can appear in the search results. Share things that are relevant to your business and your customers. You can share things like photos, testimonials, tips, videos, and more!
We recommend that you post an update at least once a week. To save time, sit down and create a few months of updates and schedule them with a tool like HootSuite – it’s what we use and recommend!
12. Verify Your Location/Business
By doing this, you’ll be able to access all of the features inside of Google My Business and control all of the information that Google displays about your business. We can instantly verify it for you if you don’t want to wait for Google to send you a postcard in the mail.
13. Manage and respond to reviews
Many businesses don’t think to do this, but you should take the time to interact with your customers by responding to the reviews that they leave. Doing this will show them that you care about them and the things they have to say.
